Error 3501 is a problem of calibration.
Solution 1:
- Place the calibration sheet on the scanner.
- Then press the "Start" button.
Solution 2:
- Enter in the "Kodak All-in-One Home Center"
- Select "Help (?)" icon.
- Select "Maintenance"
- Select "Firmware Upgrade"
- Follow the prompts and download the latest version of firmware.
