How to solve error E21 or E,2,1 on Canon MP495, MP499 printers

The error code E21 or E,2,1 means there is a timeout error occurred during WPS push button setup, on Canon Pixma MP495, MP499 printers.


Solution 1:

• Press the Color button
• Try the WPS setup again.

Solution 2:

• Setup the printer for use over a Windows wireless LAN using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
